Why Proximity to Your Pallet Supplier Matters

Choosing a pallet supplier close to your facility is one of the simplest ways to cut costs and improve supply-chain reliability.

Lower Freight Costs

Pallets are bulky and heavy. Every additional mile adds to your per-unit cost. Working with a supplier within 150 miles can reduce freight expenses by 30-50% compared to sourcing from a distant warehouse. Those savings go straight to your bottom line.

Faster Turnaround

When your production line runs out of pallets, every hour of downtime costs money. A nearby supplier can deliver the same day or next day, while a distant vendor might leave you waiting three to five days. Speed equals uptime.

Reduced Carbon Footprint

Shorter transport routes mean fewer emissions per pallet delivered. Our customers within the local zone save an estimated 60% in transport-related CO2 compared to national average shipping distances for wood pallets.

Emergency Availability

Unexpected spikes in demand or last-minute orders happen in every warehouse. When your supplier is nearby, a quick request can have additional pallets on your dock within hours rather than days. That kind of responsiveness keeps your operation running smoothly.

Each state in our network has distinct industrial strengths. We tailor our pallet inventory and services to match local demand.

FAQ

Service Area Questions

Common questions about our delivery coverage, pricing, and logistics.

We deliver to all seven states in our network: Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, West Virginia, Kentucky, and New York. Our local zone (0-75 miles from Cleveland) receives same-day and next-day service. Regional deliveries (75-250 miles) arrive within 1-3 business days, and extended zone orders (250-500 miles) are fulfilled in 3-5 business days.
For local deliveries within 75 miles, we have no minimum order — even a single pallet can be delivered. Regional deliveries require a minimum of 20 pallets (or equivalent LTL volume). Extended zone deliveries are most cost-effective at 200+ pallets per full truckload.
Shipping costs depend on distance, volume, and freight method. Local deliveries under 75 miles are often included in the pallet price for orders over 50 units. Regional LTL rates start around $150-$350 depending on volume. Full truckload rates to extended zones are quoted individually — contact us for a custom estimate.
Yes. Within our local zone, we offer free pickup for accumulations of 50 or more pallets. In the regional zone, free pickup is available at 200+ pallets. For the extended zone, pickup is evaluated case-by-case. We also purchase clean, repairable pallets outright.
We occasionally arrange deliveries beyond our core seven-state area for large orders (full truckloads of 500+ pallets). If you are located in a neighboring state such as Illinois, Virginia, or Maryland, reach out and we will provide a custom logistics quote.
Absolutely. Many of our customers set up weekly or bi-weekly standing orders. Recurring deliveries receive priority scheduling, volume discounts, and a dedicated account representative. We can also set up VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) programs for high-volume facilities.
We offer Full Truckload (FTL), Less Than Truckload (LTL), and dedicated fleet delivery depending on your zone and order size. Our own fleet of flatbeds, box trucks, and semis handles most local and regional routes. For extended deliveries, we partner with vetted national carriers.
All deliveries from our own fleet include GPS tracking. You will receive a tracking link via email or SMS once your order is dispatched. For third-party carrier shipments, we provide the carrier's PRO number and tracking portal link within one business day of pickup.
